Gold Link Media in the news

Our friends over at Gold Link Media got some nice coverage on the front page of the Business section in The Idaho Statesman last Friday. If you haven't yet seen the article, take a few minutes and give it a read.

For those who may not be familiar with them, Gold Link Media was founded by David Fish and Josh Mercaldo, who have known each other since the pre-Wirestone days of Mediaphex.

New Agency Addition

The latest addition to the list of Agencies in Idaho is Range, out of Coeur d'Alene.

The Coeur d'Alene office of Range (or Range NW) is one of three throughout the country -- the other two offices being in Dallas, TX (Range US) and Seattle, WA (Range West). They've been in business for more than 18 years, according to their website.

Their focus appears to be all about the combination of innovative thinking, and ensuring that the client's business strategy and creative vision is well aligned.

New Addition - Adrian + Sabine

In what seems to be an ongoing trend, this addition to the Idaho Ad Agencies roster is headed up by a former member of Oliver Russell & Associates.

Adrian + Sabine Creative Services offers "strategic planning,project management, event planning, and "virtual agency" services." It was founded by Courtney Robinson Feider, formerly of Oliver Russell. Adrian + Sabine's focus is on matching business with creativity, by matching the appropriate creative service with a given business, and the right business with the right creative individuals.

This, by my own unscientific calculations, is the third new business to come into being from a former Oliver Russell staff member over the course of the past year. Some may remember that Kristy Weyrich formed W Design about a year ago, and Paul Carew started Carew Co. about six month's ago.

New Agency Addition

Imagination Graphics (iMgX) is a full service ad agency / graphic design shop located in Coeur d' Alene. They first opened in 2002, and have been steadily picking up clients and employees ever since.

A quick spin through their website suggests that iMgX is an eight-person shop that focuses primarily on graphic design and signage.

Thanks for the heads-ups Sean. Just remember though, now you guys are on the hook to send updates from time to time.

Job Opening - Marketing and PR Assistant

New Agency Additions

Here are the latest additions to the agency list:

Brandroots -- Brandroots appears to be a new shop based out of Eagle, Idaho. I don't have a lot of information about them, other than what's on their website, although it appears that they're also behind the Meridian Idaho Magazine.

PBZ Marketing -- PBZ first opened in 1996 by partners who go way back in the Treasure Valley agency world, so to speak -- back to the Floathe Johnson and EvansGroup Technology days.

New Agency Addition

The White Space is a design shop based in Boise, with a satellite office in Bozeman, Montana. Their services include identity, collateral, print, web and media.

Here's another one that I've added to the list of agencies in Idaho.

Curious Media is, by all appearances, a three six-person shop based out of Nampa, Idaho. According to their website, their services run the gamut, from graphic design and illustration to photography and DVD development.

Krall Marketing
Krall Marketing, based out of Boise, describes themselves as a full service marketing, design and communications firm specializing in integrated marketing communications and branding solutions.

RED, Inc.
RED, Inc. is based out of Idaho Falls, with additional offices in Boise and Las Vegas. A good portion of their work is focused on government agencies, but they offer a full range of services as well.

Balihoo Beta Invitation

Recently I received some information from Shane over at Balihoo. He has extended an invitation to the readers of the Idaho Ad Agencies blog to join the Balihoo Beta. Details are as follows:
